Toni and Guy Sculpting Powder

Not sure if this was a competition or a freebie...anyway it turned up randomly in the post yesterday. I assumed it was a sample, but it's actually full sized! I tried it out quite quickly and didn't really notice it doing much, perhaps I needed to use more powder? I felt a bit weird shaking stuff out onto my hair. It smells like talcum powder...so not sure about this one yet. I'll have another play around and see if I can make it work a bit better.

Bottle of Coke Zero and Box of Popcorn

Coke were giving out vouchers for a free bottle of coke zero - it was only when I got it home that I realised I picked up a bottle of the 375ml version instead of the full sized 500ml! Grr!

It wasn't until I won this comp that I remembered I'd actually seen this show when it was on TV. I do love Derren Brown, he's such a good showman but not sure how much rewatch value there is once you've seen the magic once!

A freebie from the Boots Advantage Card machine - a voucher for a free Tea Tree & Witch Hazel Shine Control Day Moisturiser. It smells very nice although I felt like my skin ended up more shiny because it didn't absorb in very well. Will give it another try and see if it improves.

Boden T-Shirt

A random letter came the other week from Boden, including a £15 off voucher inside. No idea where or why it came to me but I'm not complaining! Anyway, everything on the site was incredibly expensive so I ended up getting a plain white t-shirt for £12. It's seems very good quality so hopefully it'll last a while. They also included a nice summery notebook in the package as well.

Original Source Pink Grapefruit

A while back Original Source ran a competition to win a bottle of their new Pink Grapefruit edition, to try before it hit the shelves! Mine arrive recently and it is lovely - it smells really fruity and puts me in a really summery mood. It doesn't smell amazing if you just sniff the bottle but when you actually use it it's wonderful.

Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer

Won in an instant win - a Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer. I'm not sure how I feel about it, I thought the brush was a bit of an odd shape and it was hard to apply the colour as it didn't really spread properly. It was sort of like paint, if that makes any sense.
The shade I got was extremely bright, almost neon pink, which didn't really suit me. I don't know if all the shades are this bright but it's definitely not something for the faint hearted!

Also got another o2 freebie - a box of large popcorn from Odeon. Couldn't take a piccy before it got eaten though!

Value: £4.99 for the lip lacquer. My eyesight failed at the cinema, but I think it was £7.something.  Don't even get me started on foodprices at cinemas! Blimey. Anyway. Let's just say £11.99 for the two.

Red Bull Silver

This came just at the right time - woke up feeling super tired and then the postman brings me a can of Red Bull! This is a new edition called Silver - it's lime flavoured and very nice. Extremely refreshing and doesn't taste quite so 'redbully' which for me is a good thing. Loved it!

Hot Chocolate and Biscuit

A while ago a company called Gifted4U were giving out free lollypops, I registered too late and a few weeks later I had a surprise email saying they had added £5 credit to my account.

Gifted4U is an app that allows you to send real gifts to your facebook friends - I can't see any use for it personally, if I want to give them something I'll go and give it to them - but perhaps people who live further away from each other might like it, I don't know.

Anyway most of the gifts are cute little things, mostly chocolatey based but are a little expensive. With my £5 prepay I only managed to get a sachet of hot chocolate and a gingerbread biscuit (yes I sent it to myself :D) - something you could easily buy for less in the shops. It came nicely wrapped but overall I'm very undecided on how useful this app really is.

Anyway. Biscuit was yummy so I am not complaining.

£100 Jewellery Voucher

A fabulous win!! A £100 voucher for online jewellery site 21 diamonds. My order arrived really quickly and the jewellery is beautiful. I chose a silver ring, some pearl earrings, and some Swarvoski crystal earrings.
It turns out jewellery is really hard to photograph though, as my picture of them is terrible. Boo.
