Jacava Nail Polish

I'm really pleased with this win as I usually use quite cheap makeup products so to get something a bit more luxurious is quite a treat! The prize was a bottle of Jacava nail polish in shade Midnight's Secret, but they also included a top/base coat with it which was a nice addition. I just tried it out on my thumb and the polish is just beautiful, really rich and vibrant colour and it glides on really nicely as well.

Value: £14.50 each (£29 total)
2013 Total: £1224.68

Fruitypots

These came from a daily instant win that I've been playing for MONTHS - and then I managed to win twice in one week! What a coincidence! The pots are delicious but they're a little overfilled (a novelty in this day and age) so I normally managed to spill juice everywhere when I tried to open them.

They make a lovely, healthy snack though, and it's a lot easier than chopping up the actual fruit, so they're a great idea to keep lazy people off the usual crisps and sweets. They come with spoon included so you can eat them on the go as well. I'd probably quite happily buy them again.

Value: 50p each (x6 = £3)
2013 Total: £1195.68

Benefit Ultra Plush Lip Gloss

A win from a facebook daily - a Benefit Ultra Plush Lip Gloss. It's really nice, I love the cute packaging and the gloss itself is very soft without being sticky. It smells nice and the colour isn't too bright, just gives the lips a nice tint.

Value: £14.50
2013 Total: £1192.68

Lambrini Pack

This freebie came from BzzAgent, a website that offers users the chance to try out new products. I signed up for the Lambrini trial, and got sent this pack. It came with a voucher for a free bottle of fruit lambrini, a couple of money off vouchers, a mirror, and a mascara. I used the free bottle voucher to try out the new flavour 'Apple and Blackcurrant.' I have to say it's my favourite Lambrini to date, really fruity and you can hardly taste the Lambrini flavour at all (although some of my friends disagreed.) To me it just tasted like a really nice Cider!

Value: £3.79 for Lambrini, £5.99 for Mascara. Comes to £9.78 so I'll round it up to an even £10 to include the mirror (I probably won't end up using the 50p off vouchers)
2013 Total: £1178.18

Tigers in Red Weather

My third o2 freebie of the month - a copy of 'Tigers in Red Weather' by Liza Klaussmann. :)

Value: £3.99
2013 Total:  £1168.18

Update: Overall I wasn't hugely impressed with this. It was quick and easy to read, most of the characters were relatively interesting, but on the whole I found the plot, especially the ending, a little disappointing, and felt like the whole thing was let down by a lack of explanation for why certain characters did what they did.

Uniball Fanthom Pens

Another o2 freebie - a pack of Uniball Fanthom Pens. The idea of them is quite cool, in that they come with an eraser like a pencil. Unfortunately the ink itself isn't amazing and it's actually quite hard work getting it all to erase properly as well. A good idea in principal if technology advanced to get it all working a bit better! Might be nice for school children though.

Value: £5.99
2013 Total: £1164.19

Halifax Big Lunch Package

I've said this before and will say it again: Sometimes I send off for things and then think about whether I want them after. This was one of those times. Oops.

A large package arrived the other day containing this freebie from Halifax - 50 branded balloons, coasters, some large tablecloths and bunting. I guess I'll have to start planning a massive picnic?

Value: Erm, I don't know. £3 for the lot?
2013 Total: £1158.20

Thornton's Chocolates

Another yummy o2 freebie - a bag of Thornton's Mint Chocolate. There's 9 chocolates inside (3 different varieties), which doesn't seem like much but is actually quite good value when you compare it to how many you get vs the cost of the bigger boxes, if that makes sense. It probably doesn't. Anyway, yay for mints. ^_^

Value: £1.00
2013 Total: £1155.20

Palmer's Goodies

Another facebook win from Palmers arrived yesterday - a daily facial lotion and purifying mask. Then today a sample of their Cocoa Butter formula turned up, not sure where that came from! They smell lovely, and the purifying mask in particular makes the skin nice and soft.

Value: £5.99 (Purifying Mask) and £5.95 (Facial Lotion.) plus 95p for the sample sized one.
2013 Total: £1154.20

Cat Ears Watch

A lovely twitter win - especially good as the strap on my old watch fell apart the day I won this! It's a watch with a cat face from online shop Chelsea Doll. It arrived wrapped in nice tissue paper and seems good quality, the metal is nice and smooth and the faux leather strap doesn't feel cheap like some might. It's face is really cute and quite shiny!

Value: £15.00
2013 Total: £1141.31

Months supply of Relentless

A very nice win indeed - a months supply (24 cans) of 250ml Relentless Energy Drinks! I haven't tried Relentless before, it tastes very similar to Red Bull except without the slightly sour aftertaste, so I think I prefer it. The 250ml size is new, and I think slightly better than the huge cans they also do as I find I can't drink stuff like this in large doses, so this new size is perfect and very handy if you're on the go as well.

Value: RRP per can is 79p, so £18.96
2013 Total: £1126.31

Vintage Jewellery

A fabulous win - a years supply (12 items) of vintage jewellery from Lulu Brandy, valued at £350! Value is kind of subjective as it's based on Lulu Brandy selling them for £25-£30...whether or not they're actually worth that much, I don't know.  I won at the start of February so they've been a bit slow at sorting it out, but it got here eventually!
They came bundled together in a nice box, and all the pieces are in very good condition, especially considering they're vintage. My favourite is a cute candy cane pin which I'll be wearing come Christmas!

Value: £350
2013 Total: £1107.35

Beauty Bundle

Wow! A big box turned up at the door yesterday containing a surprise win - I love surprise wins more than anything! It's a beauty bundle from P&G, containing:

Pantene Pro-V Repair & Protect Conditioner (£4.69)
Pantene Pro-V Repair & Protect Shampoo (£4.69)
Pantene Deep Repair Masque (£4.69)
Max Factor Clump Defy Mascara (£10.99)
Olay Daily Regenerating Serum (£17.99)
Olay Night Recovery Cream (£16.95)

Very pleased with the shampoos as it'll save me having to buy some for the month, and I'm looking forward to seeing how good the masque and mascara are. The Olay anti-aging products I will probably give to my mum (I'm far too young to need stuff like this yet!)

Value: The prize was advertised as being worth £50, but adding it all up it actually comes to exactly £60!

2013 Total: £757.35

Personalised Mug

A personalised mug from the Gift Experience. The mug itself seems good quality, very strong and sturdy, but I'm not sure about the image. The colours seem to have printed out very warm in comparison to the original picture I sent. But anyway, it's nice to have my cat immortalised on a piece of kitchenware!

Value: £9.99
2013 Total: £697.35

Halls Sweets

A free pack of Hall's new sweets. They are basically just tiny hard balls, which you can suck for a few seconds (the child in me giggled at that sentence) and then they're gone. They're nice and minty (although not too strong), and probably would help if you had a cold as they do clear the airways quite nicely.

Value: Can't find a price anywhere, given how overpriced things are these days probably at least 75p!
2013 Total: £687.36

Pounds to Pocket T-Shirt

A while ago pounds to pocket had a competition to name their new alien mascot. The first 1000 entries all got a free t-shirt. It arrived the other day and it's very nice, a lot of company t-shirts just have a huge slogan but this one is actually really cool with the stars and the funny alien.

Value: £2.00?
2013 Total: £686.61

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor

Not entirely sure where this came from - a sample sized bottle of Aussie's 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor. I used it for the first time today and am quite impressed - my hair has a much fuller texture and feels in good condition. The smell is quite strong though, so worth a sniff before buying to check you like it!

Value: £2.00 (full sized bottle is £4.99)
2013 Total: £684.61
