In my excitement about winning this last month, I've just realised I forgot to post it on here! A cheque for £500 which sadly didn't get spent on anything exciting as my car broke down about a week later and it all went on some rather expensive repairs...but at least it saved the day in terms of my finances!

£250 Beauty Bundle

A win! A proper win! This had to be collected from my local shopping centre so I presume the lower entry count helped my luck a bit. A beauty bundle valued at £250, including two perfumes and some makeup.

So the new address hasn't really given me much luck! My comping luck just seems to be non-existent these past few years. Since April I've won an Eye-ko eyeliner, and I've also received a free bag of cadbury buttons, two cans of lucozade that were given out in a shopping centre, and a pack of brioche.

I'm back (maybe...sort of...)

So I just moved house and am kind of hoping a new address might bring me some new luck? It's been about a month and nothing so far, but I'm trying to speed things up so maybe not entering quite as many as I did in the good 'ole days. Anyway, we shall see.

So to put things back up to speed, my 2016 total (that I actually wrote down) was £296.36, making my lifetime total £15,269.12

In 2017, since I started up again, I've won a tin of soup (lucky me!), and got a free bag of chocolates from Thorntons, courtesy of o2.

Oooh, I've been very neglectful this year.

I've still not been comping much, but I a bigish win from a spur-of-the-moment entry has made me want to at least update this blog again!

2015 Summary

It's the end of the year and time for my yearly summary! This year has been pretty disappointing on the whole, I've not won very much and I'm feeling pretty disheartened. I don't want to sound ungrateful because I have had some lovely wins, but it does feel like a lot of the year has been a bit of wasted effort given the amount of time it takes every evening. I might cut back a bit next year - life is for living after all!

Etrala Sweatshirt

One of my only wins in the advents this year - a sweatshirt from London designer Etrala. It's gorgeously soft, so cosy, but it's quite a weird shape - it's short but not cropped, and very baggy in places, so you end up looking sort of...triangular. I think it will end up being a wear-round-the-house type top rather than something I would feel confident going out in.
