BEAR yoyos

These were won multiple times in an ongoing instant win game that BEAR were doing on facebook - A free pack of BEAR yoyos each time. These are nice little snacks made from real fruit - they can be quite tangy, but the strawberry in particular has a sweet aftertaste and is very nice.

Value: 50p each (7 packs total - £3.50)

Kompendium - Beneath the Waves

Another surprise arrival - a CD copy of Kompendium's 'Beneath the Waves.' I didn't know much about it when I entered the competition, so I was just going off the name of it really. I was expecting sort of ethreal, relaxing sleep music. Some of the songs are like that, some of them are more old-school rocky, and some of them are just completely ruined by weird singing. Overall it was quite a mixed bag of stuff, some songs are better than others, but on the whole I found that none of the music was very 'emotive' and I got kind of bored. I don't think I will listen to it again.

Value: £15.99 apparently.

Delerium by Lauren Oliver

A surprise arrival the other day - a copy of Delerium by Lauren Oliver. I've been reading good reviews about this for ages so I'm pleased to get the chance to read it - especially as I love anything set in a dystopian society!

Value: £5.00
2013 Total: £345.09

Update: I LOVED this!! I thought everything about it was excellent - I love the whole concept of the 'cure', I loved the romance, I loved all the characters and it was well written to boot. The only problem with it is that now I'm going to have to go out and buy the rest of the trilogy!!

Cushelle Toilet Paper

A free pack of Cushelle Toilet Paper.

Value: £2.00

Gourmet Cat Food

A free pouch of Gourmet Cat Food, plus a golden serving fork! My cat gobbled it up so I guess he approves! I wasn't so enthusiastic - the pouches were too tight and it was really hard to push the food out.

Value: £0.75
2013 Total: £368.09

Signed David Hasslehoff goodies
